Experience

Many years of practical experience as a legal advisor on commercial law, in particular as an expert on banking and finance and in area of real estates.

For a number of years a member of a team providing legal services to one of the leading Polish banks, a subsidiary of one of the largest international bank. The work included: drafting standard banking documents on credit, deposit and currency market transactions - both for business and retail clients; implementing regulations and recommendations of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority; amendments in the documents of the bank resulting from technological changes.

Member of the advisory team to one of the global telecommunication companies in course of complex international arbitration and litigation proceedings.
Dispute value: ca. EUR 15 billion

Expert advice on resolution and liquidation of banks for
the Banking Guarantee Fund and for the working group of the Financial Stability Committee. 

Legal assistance to an international investor by the acquisition of companies and transformation of an international holding, examination of the target companies and due diligence.

Advice, transaction work, representation before the public administration, and other comprehensive services provided to an international investor in course of opening mines in Poland, starting at the stage of prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits. Key areas of legal expertise: corporate law, administrative proceedings, obtaining and performance of mining concessions.

Legal due diligence in real estate transactions. Advisory services on real estate law and perpetual usufruct to banks, companies, local governments (e.g. City of Warsaw) and bankruptcy trustees, including bankrupcy trustees for real estate development companies.

Legal opinions regarding the functioning in Poland of a trust, including the trust as a shareholder in a Polish commercial company

Expert on enforcement of claims, secured transactions and bankruptcy, World Bank - Doing Business Program
